Get the Look: Jane Krakowski at the 2013 Emmys

Darlings, get Jane Krakowski's lovely red carpet look with these Avon beauty tips and tricks!

To accompany her teal Zac Posen gown, Avon Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen played up Jane Krakowski's eyes with the same deep blue-green shade, the perfect pop of color against her blonde locks. A dusty pink lip and ginger spiced cheeks complemented the bold eye.
Here’s how Lauren got the look:

1. First, Jane’s skin was prepped and brows were groomed with Votre Vu Brow Wax.

2. Next, YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation was applied using a foundation brush and then a wet sponge to blend and press the foundation in.

3. On the eyes, Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Glow Teal was applied along the lash line. The #3 shade in the palette was brushed across the lash line and a thin line of the #4 shade was applied on top

4. Avon SUPERSHOCK Gel Eyeliner in Blackout was applied using a cream eyeshadow brush. The shadow and liner was buffed together, allowing the Glow Teal shades to pop out from behind.

6. To finish the eyes, Jane’s lashes were curled with an eyelash curler and then painted with Avon Mega Effects Mascara in Black

7. Jane's cheeks were swiped with Hourglass Illume Crème-To-Powder in Bronze Light and  Laura Mercier Fresh Ginger Blush on top.

8. To complete the look, Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Carnation was brushed onto lips.

Helmut Lang: Get the Hair Look!

Darlings, Helmut Lang’s Spring/Summer 2014 runway show last Friday was the epitome of cool. Helping to bring the brand’s inspiration to life was Lead Stylist Paul Hanlon for UNITE Hair. "The look was inspired by Helmut Lang's designs, which were a nod back to the 90's. I wanted the hair to have strong, clean lines to balance the baggier clothes. It is a bit masculine, but chic, and refined."

To Get The Look:
1.       Prep the hair with the UNITE 7Seconds Condition ($26.25), which contains a thermal protector. Then use a blow dryer and a paddle brush to achieve pin-straight locks..
2.       Next, apply UNITE Session Whip ($25), which really was the star product for this look. This weightless mousse gives the hair girth, but not hold (like a gel might). For best use, apply the mousse liberally from roots to ends and continue to blow dry the product into the hair until it is completely dry.
3.       To create the distinct part, use a rattail comb to perfectly section off the hair to the side, continuing to blow dry the hair straight down.
4.       Next take 2-inch sections of hair and spray the roots of each one with the UNITE Max Control Hairspray($27.50). As with the previous steps, continue to use a blow dryer to set the hair.
5.       To complete this look, pull the hair into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck and secure with an elastic. Then wrap a black leather hair accessory (Hanlon used one designed by Helmut Lang).
6.       For a finishing touch, pull out some of the baby hairs for an effortless, natural look.

"The idea for the Helmut Lang Show was to create a very controlled look by slicking the hair down and around the face, but not making it look crunchy or too shiny. We used products that would control the hair, but not make it too hard", explains Hanlon.
