Posh Picnics

How fab are these lawn wine glass holders for your next posh picnic?

    Amazing! I have never seen one of those before. I haven't had a drink for well over two decades, but back when I did I LOVED wine. I would buy wine at Peter Morrell's in Manhattan. I think it was on 53rd? Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. They had a huge selection divided up by country and lists of different Clarets they had in the basement by the case. Their recommendations were excellent and they kept all their wine on its side. If I saw a wine store with the bottles upright I walked back out (the corks can dry out and the wine turns to vinegar). Most of the best wines were to be served at close to room temperature to bring out the full flavour and bouquet. Love your picnic basket. As a tip I'd recommend a big ziploc bag for any waste and some moist towellettes (sp?) for an after picnic freshen up.

    I can imagine people using those wine and glass holders when they picnic on my front lawn (people do that). :)
