    I have always loved the look of opera gloves (I wore them on my first Halloween out in full drag) and then wished they were fingerless so I could show of my nail-polished Lee press-on nails. Then I looked for fingerless opera gloves. I didn't realize these gloves were called gauntlets. Now I know! Being a vegetarian and preferring to avoid leather I guess it's a bit of a paradox or enigma that I love the look of gauntlets, harnesses, and (ahem) other exotic garb and toys. Gauntlets, to me, are part of a very fascinating look. Are all of these leather or are some vinyl or other fabrics?
